Suicide airplane passenger cuts wrists during flight

A passenger onboard an airplane attempted to commit suicide during an international flight from Novosibirsk, Russia, to Yerevan, Armenia.
The passenger, whose name is not given, cut his wrists open, a spokesman for the air carrier, Armavia, told Interfax.
The passenger lost consciousness, but was resuscitated by a doctor who happened to be flying on the same plane.
After receiving first aid, the man's life was out of danger. However, after the plane landed he was taken to hospital for examination and treatment. Police officers accompanied him to hospital, for interrogation.
The plane landed on time, Interfax adds.
